A GREAT RUN: Come celebrate America’s Everyday Heroes at the First Annual Bill Estes Ford BROWNSBURG FREEDOM RUN and WALK to benefit the Brownsburg Fire Territory.

This event is a 5 K run and a 5K walk that will start and finish at scenic Williams Park in downtown Brownsburg. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to participate.

Come out and enjoy a beautiful Indiana Fall day by participating in what should be a great time for runners & walkers of all description!

Saturday, September 11, 2004. Registration opens at 7:30 AM.

Start time for the Run and Walk is at 9:00 AM
The Pee Wee Run (ages 10 and under) begins at 9:45AM in Williams Park.

LOCATION/PARKING
Williams Park, Brownsburg, is located off State Road 67 on Tilden Drive, just south of SR 136. The event will start and finish at Williams Park. Plenty of parking will be available at the park. Look for signs as you arrive to direct you to the Registration Area.

ABOUT THE COURSE
The 5 K course, beginning at picturesque Williams Park will have you winding through the park and the Brownsburg area with a nice park finish! Expect at least 2 water stations along the way.

PRIZE/AGE GROUPS

The top 3 overall in the Run will receive separate awards and not be eligible for age group awards. The top 3 (male & female) runners in each age group will receive awards. There are no walk award categories

Age groups for the run are 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49,

50-59, 60-69, 70+.

PRE-RACE GOODIES & POST RACE FUN!

We’ll have plenty of refreshments, fruit, cookies and other goodies available at the start to get all runners ready to go! You’ll also receive an American Flag to take with you on your run. There will be live entertainment by singer/songwriter, Dan Proctor before and after the race.

This event will benefit the Brownsburg Fire Territory with proceeds going to Fire Prevention & School Education Programs and Recognition Banquet.

ENTRY FEE & WEB ENTRY
Pre-registration is $17 before September 5, 2004. After this date the fee will increase to $20.00. All entrants will receive a colorful, commemorative T-shirt, bib number, pre and post race refreshments! The Pee Wee Fun Run is FREE and open to all children ages 10 and under.
