Dear Steak 'n Shake Indy
DIRECTIONS TO EVENT SITE
You can still sign up for this event at Packet Pick Up on Friday from 5 to 8pm
You can also sign up on Saturday morning at the race site from 6:00 AM to 6:45
AM.
Eagle Creek Park is located on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. The park is located off of 56th street next to I-465.
All participants must enter the park from the 56th Street entrance. You will enter the park either on foot or on bicycle. You will not be permitted to drive into the park on the morning of the event (there just isn't enough room for all the cars)! You will be able to park across the street from the park (south side) off 56th Street. There is no admission fee when you enter the park. The distance from the parking lot to the Transition area is about 2/3 miles.
Map showing Eagle Creek Park
If you arrive from the South side of Indianapolis, you should exit I-465 at the 56th Street exit, then turn left and drive just less than a mile to the parking area on your left. If you are arriving from the North side, there is no 56th Street exit from I-465. Therefore you will need to proceed South to 38th street, turn left and jump back onto I-465 North. Go North to 56th street and drive West (left turn) to the parking area on the left.
The bike course loops
outside the North of the park and into Hendrick's County, the run course is
entirely inside the park.
