Collecting Pledges (donations)

All pledges raised from Turn UP the Volume! will support the programs offered by Ovar’coming Together, Indiana’s nonprofit ovarian cancer education and resource organization.  While collecting pledges is not required, pledges allow Ovar’coming Together to maximize its education and support efforts.

It’s easy to collect pledges:

· Set a goal… $125 is a good place to start!

· E-mail your family and friends.  Better yet, get them together to form a team.

· Ask your business if they have a matching gift program

· Collect pledges in honor of friends or loved ones.

· No gift is too small.  Ask people to give whatever they can.

· Don’t stop at 15 people.  Feel free to make copies of this pledge form.

· Receipts will be mailed to individuals who donate $250 or more.

Individual Pledge Form

Pledge checks should be made out to Ovar’coming Together.  Pledges may be turned in prior to, or at the race on August 26, 2006.  To turn in pledges early, mail or bring to Ovar’coming Together, 3050 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46208. Only those pledges turned in by race day will be counted toward the following incentives: Raise $500 and receive a $50 gift card; Raise $1000 and receive a $100 gift card.
