What
Come celebrate America’s Birthday at the CarmelFest FREEDOM RUN and WALK. This event is a 4.5 mile run/walk that will start and finish at Carmel High School in Carmel, IN. Come out and enjoy the day by participating in the post-race activities immediately following the event. Start a July 4 weekend with your family!

4.5 Mile Run/Walk is at 8:00 AM
1.5 Mile Family Walk is at 8:05 AM
The Pee Wee run (ages 10 and under) begin at 9:15 AM
Location / Parking
Carmel High School, Carmel, IN.
Carmel High School is located on E. 131st Street - West of Keystone Ave.
Parking is available in the school lot and in surrounding neighborhoods.
Registration / Packet Pick Up
You may register by filling out this form and sending or faxing to the address listed. You may also register on-line by going to the link below. You also may register or pick up your packet on Friday (July 1) from 11am to 2pm at the Runner's Forum in Carmel - address is 620 Station Drive (Merchants Station). Map to Runner's Forum. Also you can register late and pick up your materials on Saturday morning at the race site from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM.
Entry Fee
Pre-registration is $20 before July 2 . Race Day the fee will increase to $25.00
Family members are only $15 (after the parents have registered at the regular price) - Race Day the fee for family members is $20.
All entrants will receive a patriotic colored T-shirt, bib number, goodie bag, post race refreshments. The Pee Wee Fun Run is FREE and open to all children ages 10 and under.
Scenic Course
The 4.5 Mile course will have you winding through neighborhoods and the monon trail! Expect at least 2 water stations along the way. The course is fairly flat with just a couple slight hills. (note: in order to receive volunteer support, you must maintain a 18 per/mile pace for the 4.5 mile event).
Kids Fun Run
It's FREE and you do not need to sign up - just show up at 9:15 and take part. Open to those 10 years of age and younger. A short distance course will be set up (about 100 yards). All finishers get a medal and other goodies!
Prize / Age Groups
The top 3 overall in the Run will receive separate awards and not be eligible for age group awards. The top 3 in each age group will receive awards (run only). Age groups for the run are 12 and under 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 up through 75+.

CarmelFest
Carmelfest is a family oriented festival focused on Patriotism and Community Spirit. The event is on July 3 and 4 in Carmel Indiana. The famous CarmelFest Parade will be on Monday, July 4 begin at 10:30 a.m. going from Merchants Square up north to Carmel High School. Immediately following the parade, join us at Civic Square for live entertainment on three stages. Food, arts and craft booths along with other activities will round out a full day. click here for more info on Carmelfest
