Come Run or Walk in the fIfth annual
Ripple Effect - an evening time event in the heart of Broad Ripple!
This event will take place on Sunday evening during Labor Day Weekend.

Run/Walk is at 7:00

Location / Parking
Broad Ripple Station near the intersection of Broad
Ripple Ave and Compton Street (just west of the Broad Ripple High School)
Parking is available in the Broad Ripple High School lots and in surrounding neighborhoods.
Registration / Packet Pick Up
In addition to the online sign up form, you may
register by filling out the entry form and
mailing it or faxing to the number
listed. You can register late and pick up your packet from
5:30pm to 6:45pm at Broad Ripple Station in front of The BLUE MILE Store (1079
Broad Ripple Ave).
Entry Fee
Pre-registration is $20 before
September 2. After this date the fee
will increase to $25.00
Family members are only $15 (after the parents have
registered at the regular price) This is for Pre-registration only.
All entrants will receive a nice
colored T-shirt, bib number,
post race refreshments!
Scenic Course
The 4 Mile course
will have you winding through Broad Ripple
neighborhoods and some of the major streets in the area! Expect at least
2 water/Gatorade stations along the
way! The course is fairly flat with just a couple
slight hills. (note: in order to receive volunteer support, you must
maintain a 18 per/mile pace for the 4 mile event).
Post Race FUN!
ONCE AGAIN - This year's race will finish on Winthrop just shy of Broad Ripple Ave - the entire block will be shut down for a post-race party - Expect the usual of fruit/cookies - water/Gatorade immediately following the race. All participants also receive a beverage coupon on their race bib - this will allow you one FREE beverage (including beer and wine) -
This coupon can be redeamed at Brothers Bar and Grill located just a few hundred feet from the finish line.
Be sure to stick around afterwards for
the post party!
Prize / Age Groups
The top 3 overall in the Run will receive separate awards and not be eligible
for age group awards. The top 3 in each age group will receive awards
(run only). Age groups for the run are 12 and under 13-15, 16-19, 20-24,
25-29, 30-34 up though 75+.
