The Kidney Run/Walk - benefiting the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana - is a competitive 8K run, and a 5K walk open to all ages and abilities.
The purpose of this event is to promote an active lifestyle, while raising organ and tissue donation awareness.
Race Day Agenda
Packet Pick-Up & Registration 6:45 - 8:15 a.m.
Opening Ceremonies 7:50 a.m.
8K Run Start 8:00 a.m.
5K Walk Start 8:20 a.m.
Kiddie Romp 9:45 a.m.
Awards Ceremony 10:00 a.m.
Location is: Eagle Creek Park off of West 56th Street on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Parking is located outside of the park along West 56th Street and Reed Road. After parking you will need to walk into the park.
Course: Both the 8K and 5K courses start and finish in the beachhouse parking lot. The 8K course is rolling and will provide a great scenic route. The 5K course is gently rolling. Water stations will be located on both courses.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the top overall finishers (male and female) in the run only. In addition, awards will be presented to the top three places in each age division.
Results: Full results will be posted on race day. Look for a complete list of full results on the Tuxedo Brothers web site at: www.tuxbro.com later the same day. All results are final. The event will take place rain or shine.
Pay NO entry to the event. We hope that each person will collect pledges for the event and turn them in at the registration area. For those that raise a minimum of $50, you will receive a T-shirt.
