The Steak 'n Shake Indy Triathlon is set for 2004. The swim will be 1K in distance (.6miles), the bike course will loop you through 33K (21 miles) of county roads, and you'll finish you day with an out and back 8K (5miles) run through beautiful Eagle Creek Park. Whether you're an individual or on a team, you'll be competition in one of the most exciting, colorful triathlons in the Midwest. Plan to stick around afterwards for fun-filled post event party with plenty of food and awards!

Saturday, July 17. Race time is 7:30 AM.

LOCATION
Eagle Creek Park, Indianapolis, IN. Swim will start and end at the beach house. Both transitions and finish line will be near the beach house.

REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION
To register simply fill out the entry and mail to the address listed. Field is limited to 600 individuals and 50 teams. NOTE: There will be a late fee charged for entries received after July 12. You may still register at packet pick up if the field has not filled.
Please check the entry form if you want a pre-race letter sent to you. Otherwise you can obtain all the necessary information from the web site www.tuxbro.com. Please don't wait till the last minute to register.

PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pick-up will take place at Dick's Sporting Goods on Friday, July 16 from 5:00pm to 8pm.
In addition there will be race day packet pick up from 6:00 am to 7:00 am at the race site.

Dick's Sporting Goods is located on the northeast side on Indianapolis . It is located on the northeast side of Allisonville and 82nd Street.  Go to Map

OFFICIAL BIKE STORE
The Bike Wave is the official bike store of the Indy Triathlon. Located at 86th and Ditch Road,
the Bike Wave is ready for your business. Call them at 317-257-1117.

ENTRY FEE
$54.00 per individual before July 12. $59.00 for those entries received on or after July 12. $81.00 for team entries received before July 12. $90.00 for team entries received on or after July 12. Make checks payable to Tuxedo Brothers. Note: The above entry fee covers you USA Triathlon insurance, PAY NO OTHER FEES! If you are a USAT member you may take $9 off the entry fee.
If you are under age 21 or 65 and above or you are in the military you may take $5.00 off the entry fee (not cumulative).

SANCTIONING
Once again, the Indy Triathlon is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. For more
information on obtaining a USA Triathlon License contact: (1-800-TRI-1-USA - or their web page at www.usatriathon.org)
All participants must wear an CPSC, ANSI or Snell approved helmet during the cycling portion of the triathlon.
All participants must follow all USA Triathlon Rules and Regulations during the event.

AWARDS
Attractive award will be presented to both individuals and teams. Over 130 divisional awards will be divided proportionally between age groups.
AGE DIVISIONS FOR MALE AND FEMALE

Top 3 teams in each division will receive awards.  Overall top 3 males and females will receive separate awards and will not be eligible for age group awards.

TEAMS- JOIN THE FUN!
Teams may consist of two members (one swimmer/runner and one biker) or three members (swimmer, biker, runner). Open team divisions are: ALL MALE, ALL FEMALE, COED. Get a team together and join the fun!

CORPORATE TEAM DIVISION! This team category is open to all corporations. All team members must be employed by the same company. Individual awards will also be presented to the top three teams.

VOLUNTEER
If you want to have the time of your life and help produce an exciting event (let alone watch well conditioned athletes run around in their skimpy swimsuits) then give us a call!
