What

The Monster Mash Dash is a scary 5 Mile run, 5K walk open to people of all ages and abilities.
In addition there is also a Trick or Treat fun run for children ages 2 to 10 that's free!

Fees

5 mile run & walk:

$18.00 Short Sleeve Shirt (postmarked by Monday, October 2)

On or after 10-5 the fee is $20.00 Size shirt on race day is not guaranteed.

The Trick or Treat Trek is FREE!

Course

The 5 mile run and 5K walk course is entirely paved. It should also be noted that the course is haunted. A haunted water station will be located at the halfway mark... take water at your own risk! For safety reasons, please no pets or skates - strollers allowed only in the walk division.

Packet Pick-up
Race day registration and packet pick up will take place from 3:00 to 4:15 pm at the beach area just inside Eagle Creek Park.

Note: T-shirt size is not guaranteed to those registering on race day.

Divisions & Prizes

Overall top finishers (male & female) in the run & walk will receive separate awards.

Age group awards will be presented to all age groups

Age Groups for the Walk:

39 and under, 40-49, 50-59

Parking

Parking will be inside of Eagle Creek Park - please enter into the 56th Street gate and follow signs.
All vehicles entering the park must pay the $4 park admission fee (up to 6 people per car).
Watch out for flying bats as you enter the park.

Costume Contest

Be scary, be fun! Lots of awards will be given to the best costumes on race day. Come dressed as your favorite monster, celebrity, or whatever! The top costume (best of show) will receive prizes (to be announced). Runner up prizes will also be given out.

Don't miss the post-race food extravaganza. All sorts of food items and drink items await you at the finish line.

Event Highlights

WFMS Radion Station will be on site from 3:00 to 4:00!

* An opportunity to make a difference to Indiana Association for Child Care Resources & Referral

* A quality event - for runners, walkers, children and families. The run, walk and children's trek are coordinated by the Monster Brothers!

* Outstanding awards and prizes - for everyone. Top places in the run and walk receive special awards. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Additional door prizes will also be given out.

* A safe trick or treat for children and adults. Pre-race festivities include Halloween activities for the entire family. Children participating in the Trek will be greeted by costumed treaters and get a goodie bag of treats and coupons.

* A chance to see Eagle Creek Park in the twilight hours. The course will take you through winding and spooky roads. The deer and wildlife will be plentiful this time of year.

* A chance to dress up and win the costume contest! Great prizes will be awarded to the best costumes.

* Haunted music, great refreshments and lots of scary music.
