2006 On your Mark for the Parks

Events and Times
Monday, September 4, 2006
7-8:15 a.m.    Registration
8:30 a.m.       5 Mile Run-starts in front of St. Vincent Carmel Hospital on Old Meridian
8:45 a.m.       5K Walk (competitive and non-competitive)-starts in front of St. Vincent Carmel Hospital on Old Meridian
9:45 a.m.       Kiddie Romp-starts and finishes in the upper parking lot near the finish line of the 5 Mile and 5K events.  Its free and open to kids ages two through eight years.  All finishers receive a goodie bag.  A must see for all!
10:15 a.m.     Awards Ceremony

14 and Under     35-39    60-64
15-19               40-44     65-69
20-24               45-49     70-74
25-29               50-54     75 & over
30-34               55-59    
Wheelchair (5 Mile only)
For safety reasons please no strollers, skates or pets.

Parking / Location
Parking is available in the main parking lot of St. Vincent Carmel Hospital
The Hospital is located near the intersection of 136th and Meridian Street (US 31 hwy).

Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
Numbers and T-Shirts (5K and 5 Mile events only) may be picked up by runners and walkers from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m. at the upper parking lot of St. Vincent Carmel Hospital.  Look for the registration tent set up in the parking lot.

Awards
Awards will presented to the top three overall finishers of the Run and Walk (awards will presented to all age group divisions proportionally to the number of pre-registered, minimum 3 deep in each category).
Note:.  To be eligible for awards in the 5K racewalk, you must follow basic racewalk rules (no running).

Entry Fees
Advance registration for the Run and Walk is as follows:
$16.00 - non-competitive walk (includes short sleeve shirt)
$18.00 - 5 Mile Run and 5K racewalk (includes short sleeve shirt).
After Monday, August 28, registration is $20.00 (includes a short sleeve shirt - size is not guaranteed).  Shirts will not be mailed to those who miss the race.  No Refunds.
