Each year, through your pledges and donations, we RAISE a great amount
of money for the Riley Hospital for Children. I’m sure this year will be no different.

for RILEY HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN!! When you enter this year's stairclimb, please take an

The race will take place from 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM. It will begin in the lobby of the OneAmerican Tower.
Awards ceremony will take place in the OneAmerica
auditorium located in the rear of the building.
Awards will begin at 1:30 PM.

WHAT IS THE BOP?
The Bop To The Top is run-walk-crawl up the 36 floor OneAmerican Tower. The race will be strictly
on the staircase. Each participant will start separately on a 20 to 30 second stagger. Participants
will race against the clock and be given a separate finish time. Faster competitors will be
seeded earlier in the day to help alleviate passing on the staircase. Please indicate on the
entry form if you would like to be seeded. Non-seeded participants will be grouped together
between 11:00 am through 12:30 pm.

The event is for everyone, young and old, big or small!

PACKET PICK UP
Packet pick up will take place on event morning only. Arrive early enough to pick up your bib and timing tag.

GEAR CHECK
We will have a gear check area for you to leave your 'gear' when you go and bop. Please bring your own bag if you can and please do not bring valuables.

BGI will provide coupons at registration - "Show your bib for a FREE gift and FREE Showers at the Downtown Hub and YMCA"

AWARDS
Be sure to be present for the awards ceremony which will take place in the OneAmerican auditorium at 1:30 PM.
Overall top 3 men and top 3 women will be given separate awards. Additional awards will be given out to
the top places in each age group (minimum of 3 in each age group). There
will also be awards for people that raised the most money for Riley Hospital.

Triple Step Division
Climbing the tower just once isn't enough for you?... then here's your division...
Climb the tower 3 times and then we'll add your times up for a 'total time' - This division is for individuals male and female. If you enter this division you are not eligible for individual 'single climb' awards but just the triple step awards. You are also not eligible to be on a team category. Award categories will be based on how many people enter this division. At least an Open and Masters division will be awarded and perhaps other age groups if enough people enter. You will have approximately a 3 hour period to complete all three climbs (again, your 3 stairclimb times are added together - not the time you rest between climbs).


FRESH AIR QUALITY!

To help alleviate the dry air in the staircase a few measures will be taken again this year.
Doors along the way to be open to create better air circulation.

Individual  - $22.00

Each participant that makes it to the 36th floor will receive a very unique long sleeve shirt!


TEAM COMPETITION
There will be SIX divisions of teams for this year's race. Each team will consist of 4 members. Each team member's time will be added together for a total team time. The team with the lowest team time will be the winner. Team entries must be sent in together. Members of the teams are also eligible for individuals awards.
OPEN - Any 4 members on a team male or female.
COED - must be 2 males and 2 females or 1 male and 3 females
ALL FEMALE - must consist of 4 females
FIRE FIGHTERS - Consists of 4 members of a Fire Department - male or female.
FAMILY - Must consist of 4 immediate family members (children, parents, grandparents)
COLLEGIATE  OPEN- Must consist of 4 students from a college - must consist of at least one female
MASTERS  - Must consist of 4 members - at least one being female - each person must be at least 40 years of age
