go GIrl triathlon - Event Info

Join hundreds of women* in the 9th annual Go Girl Triathlon on August 26th at Eagle Creek Park!

Event Options

Sprint Distance - 500 meter swim, 10 mile bike, 3 mile run
Duathlon - 2 mile run, 10 mile bike, 3 mile run
Triathlon/Duathlon Relay - 2 to 3 person team (1 person swim/runs, 1 person bikes, 1 person runs)

All participants will receive a fitted, Tech-style tee!

Finishers in the triathlon and duathlon will also receive this amazing finisher medal!



The Award Ceremony will take place immediately following the event.

Overall Awards

- Triathlon Individuals - Top 3 overall female finishers

- Duathlon Individuals - First overall female finisher

Age Group Awards

- Triathlon - Top 3 female finishers

- Duathlon - First female finishers

- Age Groups: 14-17, 18-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60- 64, 65-69, and 70+.

Fat Tire & Athena Awards - Top 3 females

- Athena (165 lbs+) - Age 39 and under

- Atheta (165 lbs+) - Age 40 and over

Team Awards- Top 3 in each division

- Top 3 triathlon teams

- Top 3 duathlon teams



You must be a 165+ pound female to qualify for the Athena Division. Competing in this division will make you ineligible for age group awards.

Fat Tire

In order to qualify for the Fat Tire division, you must have a mountain bike with a minimum of 1.5 inch tires and upright handle bars. Competing in Fat Tire will make you ineligible for age group awards.

Raceday Refueling

There will be two (2) water and Gatorade stations located on the course. The first will be located at the run exit of the transition area and the second will be at the half way point of the run course. Additional refreshments and snacks will be provided at the finish line.

Bike Tech Support

Endurance House will provide race day tech support for participants.



The event will be timed using the IPICO multi-sport timing tag system. Each participant will be given an orange or black timing tag that will need to be secured properly to the provided ankle strap. The ankle strap, with the timing tag attached, MUST be worn around your ankle during the duration of the event. If you are a participant on a relay team, the timing tag and ankle strap will serve as your relay "baton" and will be passed to each team participant as they finish their portion of the event.


If you register by the Thursday, August 24, you may download a parking pass for free entry into the park. If you register at Packet Pick-Up or on Race Day, you will be required to pay a $6.00 entrance fee into the park.
