Volunteers are a critical part of the flow and safety of our event. In order to provide a safe and fun environment for our participants, several hundred volunteers are needed. Packet Pick-Up (Saturday)

Packet Pick-Up (Sunday)
Sunday, July 29- 5:30AM-8:30AM (White River State Park)
Packet pick-up volunteers pass out bibs, timing tags, shirts, etc to participants.
Sunday, July 29- 5:30AM - 8:30AM (White River State Park)
Body Marking volunteers write the participants bib number on their arm to prepare them for competition.
Sunday, July 29 - 6:15AM - 12:00PM (White River State Park)
Gear Check volunteers organize and monitor participants gear during the duration of the race and assist them in picking up their materials once the participants finish.
Sunday, July 29 - 5:45AM - 12:00PM (White River State Park)
Transition volunteers assist within the transition area where the bikes and gear are placed. They help participants in locating their transition station, give directional assistance during the race, and secure the area.
Sunday, July 29 - 6:30AM - 12:00PM (Varies)
Water Station volunteers pass out water and/or Gatorade to the participants on the course. Water Station volunteers will be at their designated water stop.
Directional in Park
Sunday, July 29 - 6:15AM-12:00PM (White River State Park)
Directional volunteers give directional assistance to participants, spectators and traffic within White River State Park during the race.
Run Course Marshals
Sunday, July 29 - 6:45AM - 12:00PM (Varies)
Run Course Marshal volunteers give directional assistance to participants out on the run course. Run Course volunteers meet at White River State Park.
Bike Course Marshals
Sunday, July 29 - 6:30AM - 10:30AM (Varies)
Bike Course Marshal volunteers give directional assistance to participants out on the bike course. Bike Course volunteers meet at the Major Taylor Velodrome.
Sunday, July 29 - 7:30AM - 12:00PM (White River State Park)
Finish Line volunteers can help with one or more of the following duties, passing out water, handing out finisher medals, removing timing tags, preparing refreshment tent for finishers.
